Tailor-Made Luxury Holidays
The Alps are a beautiful place to spend a summer holiday, with sunny warm weather, incredible scenery and an action packed events calendar from June to September, there is something for everyone.
Summer in the Alps is all about options. Blissfully hot weather, longer days, and warmer nights give birth to a cornucopia of sporting, mountain, leisure and cultural activities. There is rock climbing and via ferrata in abundance offering challenges on rocky mountain faces or very family friendly walls to get you started. You can choose to swim in freshwater alpine lakes, you can practice yoga on mountain peaks or horse ride along flowing rivers before playing tennis, training for triathlons, trying out SUP, or parapenting across the mountain vista.
In Morzine there is an open air Olympic-sized swimming pool, a skate park, volleyball courts, tennis courts and infinite numbers of wonderful walking trails, through forests, in valleys, up mountains and summiting any number of local peaks. Culturally there are many festivals and activities in resort where you can learn about the local culture, enjoy live music such as Fête de la Musique, lose yourself in gorgeous food markets or visit during annual events such as the popular Harley Days.
From Morzine it is easy to day-trip; to Italy for lunch, or Annecy for some historic culture or perhaps Chamonix to visit Mont Blanc. The activities and possibilities are as varied and ever-changing as the colour palette of mountain flowers that bloom and fade on a never ending cycle throughout the summer months.
