Three Bears is something of a rarity in the Alps – a three-bedroomed property, perfect for smaller groups who don’t want to compromise on the location, facilities and grand living spaces usually the reserve of much larger luxury chalets.
Nestled just in front and slightly below big sister Goldilocks, Three Bears offers the same spectacular views and modern open plan living. No corners have been cut or compromises made – this is a small but perfectly formed chalet with so much to offer. The chalet enjoys many of the same design features as Goldilocks, including floor-to-ceiling windows in the living room and kitchen/dining area from which to take in the epic views. The master bedroom with its huge en suite bathroom and private balcony is as impressive as any we have seen in much larger chalets. The second double bedroom is far from modest too, with superb en suite facilities and a balcony shared with the spacious en suite bunk room.
The upper floor is split with a fully-equipped kitchen, breakfast bar and dining area at the top, leading down to a large living room with a large screen TV and log fire. Both rooms open onto the balcony, with plenty of comfortable seating as well as a 4-person hot tub.
“It’s rare to find a 3 bedroom property that truly has the feel of a free standing chalet and for me this is where Three Bears really delivers. For smaller groups that only need 2 to 3 bedrooms but who are unwilling to compromise on living space and facilities, Three Bears is hard to beat.”
The location is also superb, being slightly elevated from the village means plenty of sunshine and incredible views, but you can reach the lifts easily on foot. This also means dining out or nipping to the shops is a quick and easy. Three Bears is perfect rented on it’s own for groups of up to 8 people, or in connection with Goldilocks where you have a combined capacity of up to 20 people.
HIGHLIGHTS
We can’t get enough of the mountain views from the balcony at Three Bears. There really is nothing better than sitting with a cool beer after a hard day on the slopes, watching the sun set as the last skiers make their way down the Pleney. It is so rare to get views like this while still being just a short walk from the centre of town.
What better way to start your day than with a coffee on your own private balcony, appreciating the views over Morzine and the slopes as the sun rises over the mountains? The spacious master suite oozes style and comfort with an impressive ensuite bathroom, including freestanding bath tub, double basin and Bamford’s organic toiletries range, to leave you feeling pampered throughout your stay.
Whether you are planning a family holiday to spend precious time away with loved ones or a trip away with friends, the open-plan kitchen and dining space is the perfect area for socialising. Cook up a storm and enjoy your own dinner party in the comfort of your chalet, or simply enjoy an aperitif on the balcony whilst admiring the spectacular views prior to wandering into town for dinner; the social areas in Three Bears are very easy to settle into and appreciate! From the kitchen-dining space you can walk the few steps down to the living area to relax in front of the fire or TV – or nip onto the balcony for a soothing dip in the hot tub… luxury living in a sociable setting.
TESTIMONIALS
“We had a great time. It is a beautiful chalet and so nice to find such a lot of living space yet suitable for a smaller group. The team looked after us really well; I don’t think we were too demanding as clients but nothing seemed too much trouble for Alice and her colleagues.”
