THE THREE VALLEYS
Méribel
Situated at the heart of The Three Valleys, Méribel is the perfect base for a family holiday in the French Alps. There are plenty of hiking trails and the lift system whisks you up to a number of spectacular viewpoints in no time at all. A range of nurseries and clubs are available for children of all ages, offering sports and activities including mountain biking, kayaking, via ferrata, canyoning, climbing and archery.
This variety continues through the bars and restaurants of the bustling village; bars, cafe’s, a smattering of Michelin-starred establishments, and the many charmingly traditional Savoyarde restaurants there is genuinely something for everyone. For those not mountain biking or kayaking, there are accessible walks or hikes, mountain restaurants to access via the gondolas, and the stunning vistas of the Tarentaise valley to marvel at.
Méribel is a pretty alpine village with a bustling high street, featuring gorgeous interior shops, excellent cafes and a range of boutiques. The twice-weekly market is ideal for picking up souvenirs and sampling local gastronomic delights.
